BROWN FUSED ALUMINUM OXIDE POWDER

Brown Fused Aluminum Oxide Powders are the perfect material specifically manufactured to be used for general abrasive applications in bonded abrasive tools and lapping and polishing processes. While aluminum oxide has lower hardness and abrasive capacity than diamond, boron carbide, and silicon carbide, it is widely used for grinding ferrous materials, finishing tough and hard materials, filling up ceramic parts when the processing cost is important.

WHITE CALCINED ALUMINUM OXIDE POWDER

White Calcinated Alumina (Al2O3, also known as Alumina and White Aluminum Oxide powders)  is extremely soft, friable, sharp abrasive, similar to brown aluminum oxide and has a very low iron content.  WCA has lower hardness and abrasive capacity than fused aluminum oxides. 

WCA is perfect material for polishing of glass, quartz, semiconductor materials such as silicon, sapphire, gallium arsenide and cadmium telluride). WCA is widely used for grinding ferrous materials, finishing tough and hard materials, making ceramic parts when the processing cost is important.
